Trevijano one-pot meals taste almost as if you had grown the ingredients yourself – minus the weeding, the battles with slugs and the other joys of gardening.
The secret of a good paella, pasta or risotto lies in quality ingredients. Trevijano uses carefully selected rice, pasta, vegetables, mushrooms, herbs and spices. The vegetables are dried at their peak ripeness, removing the water while preserving their natural flavour as well as possible. No additives or flavour enhancers are needed – honest food manages without them.
Preparation is simple: following the instructions on the pack, add water, oil and the seasonings you like. If you wish, you can add meat, cheese, vegetables or other good things to the recipe. The QR code on the pack leads to Trevijano’s YouTube channel, where you will find video tutorials and ideas for preparing the dish. So if your culinary confidence takes a day off, help is right at hand.
Depending on the dish, one pack contains 2–3 portions. The range includes six-vegetable paella, vegan mushroom pasta, mushroom risotto and Mediterranean risotto. All four are great for days when you want real food but cooking from scratch feels like an unreasonably large life project.
Trevijano meals are packed in an FSC cardboard box that uses considerably less plastic. Good taste, easy preparation and more thoughtful packaging – a pretty decent result for one small box.
